Buying Advice b3030hsdc

My house sits on one acre and I own another vacant acre next door. B3030 HSDCC has been just fine for me. I could probably get away with something a tad smaller but I wanted that factory cab.
No regrets here. After having the thing for for the last 20 months, I could never go smaller. It handles the 60 inch rear blower that I had from a previous tractor just fine. Loader capacity suits me well also.
I'd say if you have a spot for it, buy it.

As far as clearance goes, I fit mine through a 7 foot door with the turfs, but had to modify the trim on the opening a bit, and still need to add a strip to the top edge of the door. No problem for me since mine is all wood........ might be more of a challenge for anyone with vinyl siding / metal garage door. R4s should fit, but it'll be tight.

As i love to say, you can never be too rich, too thin or too much tractor!!

Ordered the mmm on the tractor, but have had it off a few times, pretty easy off-on. It will pin-up for more clearance and not drop with the lowering of 3 point, which is what I do in the winter for snow etc.

I use a 60" mmm with my B3030HSDC. It is very easy to connect up the linkages and shaft to hook it up because there is lots of room under there to work.

Although its quite easy for me to connect it up, it does weigh a few hundred pounds and has to be pushed under the tractor to get it in place. It has swivel wheels on the front which help, especially if its on a smooth surface but if you have a bad back or something, it might be a chore to move it around and muscle into place.

For comparison, I found the deck to be heavier than the deck from my BX so harder to move around on the floor, but found it easier to connect up the linkage and the pto shaft once it was in place because there is more room to work under the tractor.

Someone smarter than me has probably devised a dolly to use, but it hasn't been enough of a pain for me to build one yet.

thanks DelSc, sounds pretty easy to me. can you use a creeper to hold it in position or would clearance be a problem? Do you use a bagger?
thanks
