I have a B3200, almost 50 hours and about to go for service.

In the last hour of use- while using my box blade I have noticed the steering getting very tight. Moving through 3/4 lock left or right or moving through center it takes a lot of effort.

Raised the front off the ground with the loader, so there is no ground contact- problem is the same.

Does anyone have any ideas.

Sounds like something in the steering box is amiss. With the front end off the ground it should steer effortlessly, even without the tractor running. I'd let the dealer look at it as it should be a warranty issue. If it is they should be able to swap out the steering box pretty quick.

EDIT: Also make sure nothing unusual is going on with the steering linkages and that nothing is jammed under the steering arm on the axle. Aside from that it is probably related to the steering box.

Thanks for your input, Verticaltrx,
I hoped that the no load test would suggest something.

Its always better to have an idea when you deliver the vehicle to a service manager you don't know. This is not my first Kub, but its a first from this dealer.
