For size comparison, if your dealer has a B3030, B2630, or leftover B7800, you could sit on those and compare those, size-wise, to the B2620. Big difference in size, but the largest B's feel like small, nimble machines, with bigger machine power.

If you're not sure which way to go, you really need to try both out at the dealership and do a side-by-side comparison to make your decision. Being able to do that really helped me out - the specs on paper are much harder to visualize than the physical comparison.

I only have 2 acres, but feel that my B3030 is the perfect size and strength for what I need, and I now realize I would have been very, very dissapointed in the 2920 (same frame as the 2620). I've heard the opposite from some TBN members, but the majority of folks tend to appreciate a slight move up in size/capabilities. The largest B's are still a fairly small tractor, but pack a lot of punch.

You say you have a significant need for snow removal. The 3200 has the optional quick coupler for swapping the bucket out with other buckets, pallet forks, etc. I think you can get this to work with the 2620 too but I'm not sure how much effort is involved. In any case, a TLB is not ideal for snow removal as is.

Here is the QA on my B2620. It is a perfect pin on match, and there are no alterations to make.

How is the fork width adjusted?

By hand - just snap the pin into the raised position and slide the fork over, then snap the pin down to lock it in place. Just like most small forklift setups.

The Kubota QA cost me about $270, and the Kubota forks cost me about $950, not cheap, but neither are good bolt on bucket forks, and I sure like this set up. Because long, or awkward shaped loads like tree stumps, or large rocks can be positioned closer to the pivot points using the forks, I think I can actually lift more this way than I could with the bucket. I know I moved one stump that had been giving me trouble easily. The QA does move the pivot points about 3 1/2" -4" ahead so the rear of the forks is that much further ahead than the rear of the bucket would be. I can still lift loaded tires off the ground without the relief valve kicking in if I don't have extra ballast on the rear. The bottom pins do need to be tapped in, and out at first, but are getting much easier to remove after a few uses. It is sure easy enough that I've removed the bucket a couple of times just to have less length in the woods using my chipper. Bandit will tell you that it takes a little getting used to since the tines are fixed, and don't follow ground contours, but I like them better that way. I don't regret spending the money on them at all.

Thanks for sharing Chuck! I am deffinitly going to look into getting this as well I could sure use some forks and have been hesitant to buy clamp ons. Now just need to convince the boss that I need the money for yet another toy

Chuck, Thanks for sharing the pics! I was looking for ideas on how to beef up the bucket before I put on the hooks and was thinking along the same lines - actually one whole piece of angle along the whole length, but now that I saw your setup, that would work as well. Thanks again!

My dealer has been installing three hooks like that on evrerything he sells for a long time now, and I like it very much. The three pieces of angle iron make a good storage place for a steel bar, etc. The other local dealer does install a piece all the way across, but it's hard to get a good weld that long without distorting something, and I really don't think it adds that much more strength for the hooks. The three separate pieces also make it possible to mount some kinds of bucket pallet forks like the ones BX Expanded offers where the angle all the way across would prohibit that.
