Kubtoa B3200
Hey Everyone,

I'm looking at at buying a new B3200. I have a couple of questions that maybe people can answer for me. One what does everyone think of the quick connect bucket? Can you put a tooth bar on it? How much lifting/ carrying capicity do you loose? What is the difference between the woods backhoe and the kubota 8ft backhoe? Whats you thoughts on filling the tires and with what?

Thanks again

Quick connect is great. Toothbar is even better for ground work (in lieu of just scooping with the bucket, Markham Toothbars), Woods is good, Kubota is also good and comes installed upon new purchase. I wouldn't leave the lot without loaded rear tires, especially with loader use intentions. The 3200 is a good machine.

The quick connect is good but it's not a Skid Steer QA in case you didn't know. You can put a toothbar on it and you can put a Ratchet Rake on it. Tooth bar bolts or welds on and RR straps on with no tools in under 2 minutes by your self. The lifting capacity you would lose is approximately the weight of the item you add to front bucket. Difference between backhoes is brand name and lower resale value with Woods but it should also be cheaper to purchase if buying seperate. Probably perform about the same but I don't know. Looks like you should contact Barlows and ask them for a price on the BX25 which is what you are describing. (wrong, wrong, wrong. I really got confused here. Guess I shifted from one tractor I own to the other one I own) (Was going to delete this but rather show my error and not cause confusion to the following posts) It's basically a (BX2660)B3200 with fel/backhoe factory assembled which I would prefer over a BX3200 and adding options. Also probably less expensive than buying B3200 and then adding options. Load the rear tires on any tractor B size or above and maybe even the BX's. You dealer will know what to put in them. Dealer will probably include it in the price.

If I were buying a 3200, i would get the Kubota backhoe, because of its integrated design. Woods makes a great hoe (i have one)...... but the kubota hoe on that tractor is much more compact.

There is a BIG difference between a B3200 with fel and backhoe and a BX25!!! You are comparing an orange and a watermelon.
Wow, I was about to give you a smart response but read the question again. I apologize for the almost smart response. Can I claim mad cow disease? I bought a B3200 this year and then bought a BX2660 later and considered the BX25 vs the BX2660. I think that may be where I got so far off track. Owning a B3200 should have brought me back but it didn't.

There was a thread on backhoes not too long ago that suggested the ground clearance for non Kubota products might be less making this a concern for some users. Around here, we are close to the Wallenstien factory so this is an option for us - and the reason we would go with them is the price difference and parts availability compared to other non Kubota backhoes. Specs are typically the same. We can get Woods but everything has to be shipped in so this usually adds to the price. If backhoe and FEL are the primary applications, loading the tires is a good idea. Rim Guard is typically used.
