Newbie here and just did a service on my friend's B3200HST with 109 hrs. I was not finding the answers I needed here or anywhere (including a dealer :sarcastic
. So for anyone doing oil and filters on their B3200HST with LA504 backhoe, here's the deal. Engine oil pan has two drains; very obvious. The hydraulic drain I used was on the side of the mid PTO and I got about 4+ gallons out. There may be more drains (maybe each side of the rear diff out by the hubs but the guy I talked to at a different dealer said it probably wasn't worth the time). The oil looked a little muddy and I'm glad to have changed it at 109 hrs which I know is early. I'm sleeping better. The dealer I went to had funny (odd) information about the hydraulic/HST filters and a footnote that said there may be three(3) filters "if applicable" and that HH670-37710 was superceeded and both sides were HH660-36060. Not true! Left side = HH660-36060 and right side = HH670-37710. The -37710 is slightly longer, a little more recessed on the face and even has different threads. I removed the control rod above the left side filter to make more room. Easy to do by undoing the clevis'. My band wrench was too wide to get between the frame rails for the filters so I used my giant channel locks; a little rough I know but it worked and I hand tightened the new ones (3/5ths turn past contact per the filter directions). My fuel filter had some water in it and a flying ant. I unscrewed the housing and the poppit worked fine at stopping the fuel flow from a 3/4 full tank. When I screwed the new filter/housing back on, I waited for the housing to fill before final tightening. Started right up! Replaced only the outside paper air filter and left the mesh screen untouched; it was clean.
I used all Kubota parts and it was just shy of $300. The engine oil was Kubota dino 10w/30. The HST oil was Super UDT2. Super easy job and def a DIY. Hope this helps, C.
