Backhoe B4690 Backhoe and B7800 HSD

I purchased a used B4690 and I'm looking for advice for proper mounting to my 2004 B7800 HSD. I bought a B4690 manual (2002) and it states I need a reinforced 3-pt top link bracket. I have 2 specific questions:

1) There are 4 groups listed in the mast mounting chart. Groups 1-4. Group 2 has B8200 HSD listed but the B7800 is not listed anywhere. What is the proper group for the B 7800?

2) What is the part number for the reinforced 3 pt. top link bracket?

Appreciate any info folks may have and suggestions for a place to purchase the parts.

Here is the parts manual. It should answer your questions except for the group number. Somewhere here on TBN the part number for B-series was posted. Do a search and you might find it.

Thanks for your reply. I got a number for the proper bracket and one dealer says it will cost $235 for the bracket. Does that sound about right price wise?

Do a search for "toplink bracket". That will probably get you some posts that give the correct part number. If I recall correctly, the bracket and associated mounting hardware is rather expensive.

Under no circumstances should you connect the backhoe without the HD bracket. Failure to use the HD bracket could cause you some very expensive repairs.

Probably the same or very similar bracket as on my 4672A. It does look pretty beefy = important

I have the same setup B7800 with B4690B. The pictures from a manual the dealer e-mailed me show a little different setup than "Taiser" has? My mast bar is bolted in the upper holes so it is flush with the mast ears and my mast braces are in the upper holes. I am going to try "Taiser's" set up.
A B7800 is Group 2, same as the B2910. My B4690 was off a L series so I had to change the Mast and mast ears, the dealer had them and said it came with both set ups.
