woah? i have a B7100 and this is all new to me. i guess i need to check the hub tigthness on mine.
my wheels are set just to about the same width as my 60" MMM deck. anyone know which hub setting that corresponds too?
in general torque values are most critical in specific situations like with aluminum (very soft metal), or when doing work on tight tolerance machined surfaces like engine block work (heads, block, etc). i'm not surprised Egon says proceed without a torque wrench on hub work.
i too have a set of chains that came with the tractor, i basically have been throwing them around like scrap metal, had no clue they run $200+.
