I just bought a '91 B7100 HST from a local dealer, so far I am pleased with the machine. I got a 4 foot rotary cutter (to use for some light duty cutting) and have a 4 foot box blade on order also. Unfortunately, when I bought the tractor I didn't notice that the previous owner for some reason welded the two pieces of the rear hub assembly together so now I cannot tighten the hub against the axle. New hub assemblies are quoted to me at $136.00 each. I live near Houston, Texas; does anyone know of a salvage yard that handles parts for this unit, preferably in my area?

Somebody didn't weld them, thats the way they came, the bolt is supposed to squezze the hub together, It did'nt work very well when it was new much less after it wore. Welcome to your first experience with the cost of kubota parts,The good news is the new hubs are updated by using wedges and tighten down much better. Quick tip grease the axle before installing the hub and re-tighten every 50 hours. By the way 136.00 is a good price.
