Yes, I missed the loader aspect...on the average- add ~$800-1200... and a loader attached certainly changes the "chemistry" of people bidding...

I've said before, most of the super clean units never end up at the auction {unless bankruptcy or going out of business}...

Some of last months auction results...
Model #,Comment,Condition{F-air/G-ood/E-xcellent},State,Upset $$$
B6000, w/loader, G, UT, $3,200.
B7300, 4x4, E, NY, $8000.
L175, diesel, F, MO, $1050.
M4050, 4wd, G, MO, $4000.
M4700, new tire, G, MO, $8200.
M8950, w/loader, G, MO, $13,000.

...Could the different locations make a differents...

Absolutely... Thomas... even the weather outside, and the time of year has made big differences in price at an auction...

ex. Spring auctions bring low ball prices on new rear blades and snowblowers but command Top Dollar for rear rakes and rotary cutters... Winter auctions is just the reverse of that for the identical items... /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

Nationwide Dealer Lot Prices{avg} for Kubota B7100 4WD 6/2
1980-$2375
81-2563
82-2688
83-2875
84-3063
1985-$3188.
Remember, these are geared units...not Hydro where production stopped in 1985...

B7100 4WD HST continued in production up to 1999 and historically has commanded a higher dollar...

My 1981 B5100E with a mid mount mower fetched 3500$ Canadian when I traded it for a B7500. I would say that 6500$ US is a little steep.

Well, those in my memory are the first 'botas I saw and I remember telling my new wife that I wanted one of those someday. I cannot remember exactly her response since I had just bought my first aeroplane and we lived in a tiny apartment.
Nonetheless, with only 12 or so PTO horses, no hydro, no other implements you will find that unit severely restricted.
I think 3,000 dollars and maybe 1,000 more for the loader if both are in excellent condition. No way 6,500.
Here it comes--everyone duck----with the low rates available at the Kubota dealers now I would take my money and put it down on a new BX2200 (or B7500/B2410). Used equipment will not qualify for the low rates but if payments are a problem then something more recent would be what I would hold out for.
The black smoke at startup is normal. Good luck.

I agree 150% with J... $6500. is excessive... either keep shopping for something newer & with more usable horsepower or bite the bullet and for a few thousand more buy Brand spanky new...

J... what kind of plane did you originally buy?... what do you have now...?
