My 1999
B2710 had an LA401 loader. If I remember right, those loaders are numbered for the approximate number of kilograms they'll lift. In other words, my LA401 was rated for about 884 pounds and that LA480 is rated for over a thousand pounds. I can't remember for sure, but I think my B1630C loader on the
B7100 was rated for about 512 pounds. And the tractor was light enough that it would easily raise both rear wheels off the ground if I didn't have a counterweight on the 3-point hitch.
So . . . .,
in my opinion, an LA480 loader is way too much for a
B7100 tractor, but we could very possibly have members who know more than I, so if anyone wishes to contradict me, or express a different opinion, feel free to do so.
