B7100 & Pat's Easy Change

Your right about the lift arms being different. On both my B7100's they are straight with bends only on the ends. I thought the bend at the end is what you were concerned with. I don't think the design of yours would be a problem. I'll have to think about it some more. Here's a picture of mine.
The reason for the green paint it was bought by a Deere employee that painted it John Deere Green one month after it was bought NEW. I have all his purchasing info and he was looking at Deere's and others before getting the Kubota. We call it a Kudeere.

You will have to learn to put up a picture. I'm impressed with a one owner compact tractor of that vintage. I think they discontinued the B7100. Then brought it back because of demand. I Wish Deere would do that with the 318 and 455.

I went around Lake Superior a few years back looking at waterfalls. Took four days to get across Michigan UP. Felt like most was on gravel. I want to go back to Grand Marais for breakfast (West Bay Diner).

The bend at the end is what concerns me. I think I have 2" or less on my arms after the bend. How far is from the middle of Pat's pin where it attaches to the lower link ball to the tractor end of Pat's?

I did a motorcycle trip around Lake Superior with my buddies in 1999.

I bought my B7100 in July 1979 in the Detroit area. My boss was good friends with the tractor dealer and got me $500 off. I paid less than the tractor salesman and he wasn't happy. I went to California and back in 1982, but my Dad and brothers used it from 1984 to 2006 when I moved back to the UP and retired. I was offered $5000 from three different people as early as 1986, but I wouldn't sell it. I thought I might need it down the road and I knew the prices kept going up.

You don't seem to have gotten a reply so I went out and measured mine. Center of the pin to the back of the U bolt that helps stabilize it is 2 1/8" However the slot at the back is 1 1/2" wide so there is room for a little bend in the arm. Mine is a category 1. If that is what you need you can get it on ebay from Radcliff electric for $169.00 with the stabilizer bar and free shipping. That was the cheapest I found it. Since my tiller has cat 0 spacing with cat 1 pins I had to cut 2" off the inner bar on the stabilizer to get it narrow enough. one of the best accessories I have bought for the tractor yet.

Thanks for the reply. Earlier I didn't get a reply so I bought it anyways and it works fine. My PTO shaft on my RM-48 is still long enough too.

I had to buy a longer top link for my box blade so I can tip it back enough. Sure makes hooking up my equipment easy now.
