I need to replace some hoses on the 1630 loader on my '92 B7100HST. The ones from the loader valve to the hard lines.

Does anyone know the size and thread? Last time I replaced hoses I took the old ones to a hydraulic store and said "match this". The result was expensive.
I'd like to order hoses on line this time.

I'm not sure of the sizes but I've ordered hoses from surplus center and they are good quality made in the USA hoses and they are very well priced.

If nobody can answer your question, an alternative would be to look up the Kubota P/N's online and reference the item description. It may contain the desired info.

Per the Kubota Parts site: (go to http://kubota.com/part/partsList.aspx and enter B7100, click on "Local Options" for your model and choose the loader, I got B1630C)
The parts should be:
3 70050-01587 STEEL LINE SHORT 2 0.0
4 70050-01588 STEEL LINE LONG 2 0.0
5 70050-93569 FTG 8 0.0
6 70050-01554 FITTING 4 0.0
7 70050-02183 ORIFICE PLATE 1 0.0
8 70050-01553 HOSE 4 0.0
9 70050-01641 HOSE Return 6 0.0
10 70050-01642 HOSE HYD 2 0.0

I cant really see the ends well enough to see what kind of fitting they are. Can you post some closeups of the fittings on your tractor?

Thanks all, especially scdeerslayer for the hose guide.. We're getting another big rain storm right now so it might be a few days before it's light enought in the barn to take pics. The 1630C loader parts diagrams do not show these hoses between the hard lines and the valve on the loader frame.

Yes it does, those hoses are part #8 which appears to be a JIC Male to JIC Female 1/4" hose (probbaly #6 JIC). It costs $18.08 at Messicks: Kubota: HOSE, Part # 7:confused:-1553
That goes to part #6 which appears to be a JIC to oring adapter, but the resolution is too fuzzy to tell. Hence my request for pictures of the loader.

I will jump in just to say I "think" that many Kubota loaders are made in the USA. Which means what, I don't know?

If you are willing, take the hoses that need replacing off and simply compare the ends with online info sites like Surplus Center or Discounthydraulichose (as noted above) and you should be able to then order from the supplier of your choice. Or Messicks.

Oh you're right, I totally missed that. Thanks for being patient.

Attached are a couple pics of either end of the hoses. Is that useful or do you need a pic of the loader itself?

Those appear to be JIC fittings, looking online I found the following rough rule of thumb:
http://www.heavyequipmentforums.com/showthread.php?45389-Quick-and-dirty-JIC-Hyrdo-Connector-ID&p=508998&viewfull=1#post508998 said:
JIC # size/Wrench size
#4 /9/16
#6 /11/16
#8 /7/8
#10 /1"
#12 /1 1/4
#16 /1 1/2
#20 /2"
So, if a 11/16 wrench fits on the nuts, they should be #6 and I would look on Surplus Center for the hoses. It looks like they have a bunch for $10-12 each: Surplus Center
Is there enough writing left on the hoses to see what size they are? It looks like 1/4" and 3/8" hoses are both available with #6 JIC ends
Those hoses are mostly Female to Female, you would would also need a Male to Male adapter to connect at the loader end, it looks like those are around $1 each: Surplus Center
