Howdy. I need some help.

I'm looking at a B7200HST with Kubota loader. no mower. meter says 477 hours but based on the condition of the tractor and the tires it *must* be 1477 or 2477. Owner is asking $5200 for it. runs great. starts right up. loader lifted 300 lbs easily. doesn't smoke. Is $5,200 a good price or should I be able to find one cheaper?

thanks!

Scram,

Well, I see you did post your question over here, and so far, no help./w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif One other link I can point you to is machinerylink.com . They have price ranges for various older models - without the attachments, like FELs and BHs.

I just sold a 1980 b7100 kubota with kubota loader, ROP, with 1800 hours, tractor looked like new, back tires were worn about 70% no smoke, in excellent condition. I sold it for $5000 to the first person that looked at it. Maybe I sold it to cheap but it was over 20 years old. Good Luck

Eric,

Here's one more place to look SSB Tractor, another discussion forum which may have posts about this older model tractor.

Yes I beleive that that is a good price if (1) the tractor is 4wd and (2) it is in good shape.

I believe that it was you that was asking about the ROPS in another post. The B7200HSE is the 2wd hydrostatic model and the B7200HSD is the 4wd hydrostatic.

Sometimes Kubota uses HST-E instead of HSE for the 2wd models and HST-D instead of HSD for the 4wd models.

I paid 8000 for a 7200hst 4wd with fel and box last yr. Hours are hard to determine as he admits the panel was disconnected for a while. Runs fine but has problems appropriate to its age. From everything I have been able to determine, I got a "fair" deal. I didn't get a great deal and he didn't rip me off. I would consider 5200 a very good price for my location and a "fair" price for the north-eastern part of the country.
