To clarify my previous post, I'm trying to determine how to remove the panel without damaging the panel or surface it mounts to. I have a service manual but can't seem to locate exactly how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks BL

Butch, I can't say for sure, but I think it's much like my B2710, and it sure helps to have the parts manual along with the workshop manual when you do anything to your tractor. At any rate, if it's like mine, there are two snap in tabs on either side of the "frame cover" (the gray plastic part the instrument panel in mounted in). You just remove the one big screw at the top center, then pry the two tabs loose on each side (always hate to do that; afraid I'll break something). I had to take mine off once, though, and didn't do any damage.

I took my panel off my B7500 to mount my inclinometer (spelling?) and was afraid to use any tools. I know there are two notches on top to apparently stick a screwdriver into. What I did was just wedge my fingers in on each side and gently pull until it un snapped. I figured that with this method if I did not remove something that needed it I would feel it better than if using a screwdriver. It came out with no problem and more importantly went in the same way.
