I pulled my B7400 with 35 hours out of the garage today, got off to adjust the blade and noticed small wisps of smoke coming out of a plastic engine vent tube. It went away after it warmed up, but is this normal?

It's normal on diesels. You'll generally see it when you first start up the tractor for a few minutes. You may see it also after running the tractor hard for a time, and then cutting back to idle. Not to worry.
