Henro,
I just could resist sharing one of my (many) brain farts during my tractor learning curve. If I only had a nickel for every "Doah....", I could probably afford 2 tractors by now too.

No matter what don't trust the stabilizers if you are under the tractor..... Play safe and use jack stands.... I have seen people get hurt when someone decides that they will play "tractor" and tug on a lever..... usually that someone is a young child that you didn't notice wandered into the shop. I have a good friend that was almost killed when under a car and his grandson jumped into the drivers seat and turned the key. The car was a standard transmission and was in gear. The car jumped off the jack stands and landed on his head... it was not a nice sight and he still has the scars to prove it. Life is short enough without your doing something foolish to make is even shorter...... always remove the ignition key when under the tractor........

Absolutely..... I never trust anything hydraulic. I haven't ever seen it, but I have heard how fast a loader or a BH can drop with a failure. I use the stabilzers to get it up far enough to put the jack stands under it. I never get under my loader either.

Thanks,
Greg
