Boone,
It looks alittle soggy up North yet /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. It also looks like a pretty good pile of firewood /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

Is that pic a little old or are you still melting up there? I'm lookng at the first mowing session in central Wisconsin in the next week or two. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Could you tell me what kind of fork do you have? I don't see any bucket on the pic so this means you have a fork frame.

I cut grass for the first time yesterday. It was a beautiful day. Not a cloud in the sky and a very warm 82 degrees. Today it is overcast, rainy, and a high of 41. Go figure. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Picture was taken a couple of weeks ago. Still wet after over an inch of rain day before yesterday. All that wood is cut and gone. I don't have a woodstove in my new house.

Those are some slip on forks I welded up. The bucket is on. for heavier work like moving logs it would be best to have a fork setup without the bucket, but I don't work that heavy that often and I like the ease of slipping on and off.

Tonight I'll be on my third mowing of the season.

But that's O.K. I figure I only have about 30 more to go. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I mow because I have to. The less the better. I still prefer to use my snowblower than my mower. I guess I'm located at the wrong place. I should be living in northwest territories. I don't know if they have grass there. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

About forks, nice setup. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Did you weld any extra support on the bottom of the bucket? When I put my slip-on forks on the bucket I feel if I lift something heavy it will bend the lip of the bucket.

I have a toothbar on the bucket, so no concern about any bending. I welded a piece of pipe onto the sides of the forks and slide it on a tooth of the bar to prevent the forks from twisting out. This works really good.
