B7500 Position Control and Aluminum rear

Hi Folks,
I haven't had a chance to buy the manual yet, that I didn't get with my B7500hst. Would someone please tell me how the 3 point valve located in the foot area below the seat center, with open and close works? How can the open/close position be used to control the 3 pt. hieght?

I do believe that the knob you are talking about controls how fast the 3pt will drop. You adjust this for the weight of the implements so it doesn't drop too fast or to slow. You can also use this adjustment to keep the implement from dropping at all if you close it completely....
