john4nh,
When I was shopping I stopped in Landsdown Moodey on I-10 at the east loop. They didn't want to sell me a Kubota they were pushing New Holland. Never was able to get a Kubota price from them. They got their wish, I didn't buy a Kubota from them. I admit that WOWCO is a little rough around the edges but they are all family owned and operated and have always treated me well.

I have purchased two Kubotas from Normagee Tractor in Normagee (100 miles north of Houston. The L4310GSt with one remote was $16995 and the B7500DT with R4 tires was $8730. Normagee delivers to Houston for next to nothing. I have had great service from Cliff.

Sorry to hear about your experience there (landsdown)I didnt buy there but they showed no favoritism to either brand when I was there. If I was to buy off pure freindliness I would probally go with them.. Like you said Wowco a little ruff but I have heard some good things.

Thanks for the kind words and be sure to say hey to me sometime and we'll talk Bota and grass!
When you go to Davis ask to speak with Allen. I think he's the owner and knows his stuff! They stay really busy there but are very customer friendly. FYI, I think they close at noons on Saturdays but I think they set up an appointment if needed.

Im planning on going over there saturday morning. I would like to hear their opinions on the NH TC18 vs the Kubota B7500 since they sell both.

As far as I can tell, both units are right at the same price. You trade the position control of the TC18 for the 3 extra horsepower of the B7500.

I need to make a trip to Galipolis as well to get some other quotes to use as bargaining power. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Did you (or anyone out there) compare these two units? Why made you choose the B7500 over the NH offerings?

I did compare the two but the Kubota just seemed right. The prices are really close too. A minor reason was the 'Bota offers a post hole digger, the NH does not (I ain't planning on using one, but...).

I did look at the TC18 and also a TC21(?), but just didn't like the looks of 'em. Although my dealer sold both, he was partial to the Kubota; thought they were more reliable & had several advantages in terms of implement handling/hydraulics.

So, for me, the NH never really got into the running. I'm very happy with my B7500HST.

this past winter i looked at tc18 and b7500(actualy bought kubota b2400) if i was to pick between the two i would have prefered the b7500. at that time in new york state the b7500 with fel was 12,500. extra hp beats pc anythime. i have pc and it is nice but would NOT be a deciding factor in my choice of tractors.

I just picked up my new b7500 Hst last night with a kubota 302 fel in northeast oregon I mowed my pasture this morning What a wonderful machine, I paid 12,600 for the tractor and fel. I called around eastern OR. and eastern Wa and that price was about the best deal I could find
