Hey glad to here some other TBN'ers from Chillicothe. I also live in Chilli town - actually more correctly I'm down off Rt. 50 East almost Londonderry. And yessir it can be hard to get parts for the '65 antique. Good thing is for the most part it is in pretty good shape other than the mower deck, thank goodness for the 63" pull behind. I had a mandrel go back on the deck and I've actually got a cousin making one as I can no longer buy it. May have to look at some engine work though. Still starts and runs great with ample power (for a 12HP GT) but it is starting to leak oil pretty bad. I changed (well kinda) the oil last week after the winter hiatus, but I got very little oil out.

Hadn't really considered folding ROPS. The purpose of this shed really wasn't for the purpose of housing a 'bota, but was hoping that I could kinda make it work. I'm hoping to be able to do a garage shortly as well, but in case that doesn't happen I want to have a fall back plan to protect my baby if/when I get it. Gotta get the wife rest of the way through college so she can then hopefully find a job and buy me 'bota /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif.

Actually it isn't a '63 it is a 63" mower. I purchased last year from the now defunct Quality Farm & Fleet (God bless its now empty shelves/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif. It is made by Agri-Fab and has it own B&S engine. A 12.5 I/C engine. Does a great job with the grass and saves a lot of wear & tear on the old Sears as if I don't use the deck on the tractor and only use the pull behind the Sears can then just putter along.
Roxabelle area? Isn't that out toward Greenfield? Also off SR 28?

If you'r driving from greenfeld to chillicothe on 28, and goes left at lattaville, you cant miss roxabell. I sees what you saying about the mower. 63 would be older than the tractor thogh! I bet Seers would by the old tractor from if you told them you has it. I bet there ain't to much bunches of them still mowin! I thot the old 73 JD was an antike! Where you go school? I went to Teays Valley until the 7th grade. That be in the Cirvleville area. I probly try to get my GAD if I ever gets a job where I don't got to sleep all day! You go to chillicothe high? I got my computer on the branch campis give-back. where you got yours?

I did go to Chillicothe High School my Freshman/Sophomore years. Then for my Junior & Senior years I went to Pickaway-Ross Vocational Center and got into Computers. Right now I'm down to about 4 computers. The one I use the most is a Compaq that my cousin had that was struck by lightening and I resurected it from the dead. I then also have a Toshiba laptop that I bought at Best Buy. Both of those are AMD processors. I also then have a Pentium II PowerSpec from MicroCenter that is the kid's machine (2 year-old girl and 9 mo. old boy). Sure does save a lot of wear and tear on my machine with them banging on that. Also have a handheld Windows CE computer/toy /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif. With the house projects/honey-do lists haven't had much computer time other than at work. But I'm probably going to look at building a new machine in 2 or 3 months. Try to get some of the projects completed that I've been waitin' on spring for.

No, don't think my dad would like that. His uncle actually bought it new, so he kinda wants to keep it around for the memories. I've also got the 3 pt. hitch on it with a disk and single bottom plow. Have done a lot of work with that tractor through the years. It actually has very few hours. Dads uncle only used it about 5 years to plow/disk a small garden up before he died. Dad then got it and used it to keep an even smaller garden up for a few years (20X20) Dad finally found the mower deck for it in the late 80's. He used it on their city lot (80X120) with 2 driveways, house, pool, & and a camper so not many hours there either. I then started using when we bought our property in late '99. This will be my 3rd summer mowing with it. He still comes down to the house and stares at it waiting for me get my own tractor so he can have his back. I bought him a 13.5 horse Snapper w/ a 38" deck for Christmas in '98 because the Sears was 2 big with all of the stuff and I got a helluva a deal on the Snapper - cousin owned a lawner mower/saw shop that went out of business there in Chillicothe.
