I have decided to buy a Kubota! Now which one? Is the 2410 worth 1500 more dollars. You get the position control, 4/2 more HP, and 110 lbs. more weight. Decisions decisions...

And about the only way I'd know to decide which one is to drive both for awhile and see if you think the 2410 is 10-15% better than the 7500./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I think it would be to me, but since they're both nice machines, it just depends on your uses and what's comfortable for you.

Also remember to factor in the increased cost of some of the implements. I jumped from the BX to the B7500 and while the cost difference betweer the tractor was only $1500 the larger implements cost me another $1500.

Implement cost between these two models should not really efect price, Anything bought for a 7500 will work on a 2410. Now the 2410 should be able to handle slightly larger....

Yeah, I guess the loader would be the only different model which might command a slightly higher price.

Part of it depends on what you want to do. The 2410 has some nicer features besides horsepower. Position control is a big one if you plan to do leveling and grading. I can't imagine attemping to make the "fine" adjustments with the "up/down" on the 7500.

If you do go with the 2410 don't bother with "bi-speed turn". I have a 2400 (I bought it used) with bi-speed turn. I can't find where is does anything for me.

Westbilly,

It's a marginal call IMO. The engine in the 2410 isn't all that much stronger than the 7500, and they are pretty much the same frame. If you want a stronger/bigger tractor, I'd look at the 2710 or 2910, both of which are on a bigger frame and have a distinct increase in power.

I've heard all the arguments about position control. I have a B7500 w/o it, and haven't had a problem, even though one of my primary uses is the boxblade. I guess if you've never had it, you don't know what you're missing.

That's a good price differential. When I got firm quotes, the difference was $2,300.

I had a similar experience as fishman; the difference between the 7500 and 2410 was roughly $2,200 when I priced the units last year. I ended up going with the 7500 and bought a pto chipper with the savings. However, if the difference was $1,500 I think I would have gone with the 2410.
