Mowing B7500 vs BX2200 Mowing

I also have a B7500hst. I mow about 6 acres in 3 diferent locations. I have flat with some trees, some with slopes and curbings, and some with a pond and steep ditch. I like my unit. It has a 5' rear finish mower on it. I have about 190 hrs on it. I mow with my fel on and I have noticed here lately that the fel bucket which has a tooth bar attached has a tendence to drop, not the loader arms but the bucket curls down. When I mow for about 2 1/2 hrs straight the steering gets stiffl on the tractor. If the unit is shut down for about 20 minutes the steering is back to normal. This is especially true if the ground is rough.

Jim, funny you should mention the steering. I made a similar post (see "Hot UDT") on this board last night. Are you using UDT or Super UDT? It appears related to hot fluid. One of the replies to my post noted temps in excess of what I measured and didn't indicate there was anything odd happening with the steering. Maybe we are exceeding the operational limits of regular UDT....................chim

I caught your post and today I did some pm on the tractor. It has been running middle of the temp gauge. I had checked the radiator and added some fluid earlier. But I actually got the owners manual out and checked for some help. I found that the radiator has a overflow tank like my car and truck. According to it I was at min fluid. I added about a quart to it and I haven't run it long enough to see if that has helped.

I had the 100 hr service done by my dealer and I don't remember weather he used UDT or Super UDT. I will post a follow up after the next mowing.
