B7500 vs JD755

$6500? Not too bad, not at all. That leaves you with some funds to cover any hiccups that may arise.

That kit is a manual valve for the grapple - for $600 and it disables the tilt to the grapple in doing so. When you can get a true third function for $900, so for 1/3 more you are better off with the 3rd function so you can use both at the same time.

Of course when I finally find a good tractor something else always shows up.
This 2021 Branson 2400H with 3rd function,340hrs with some warranty left.
Asking $9900
Good grief how does one decide!???
Hate to ask but how would this compare to JD755?

The ad for the 755 says it has a unknown hydraulic leak, I would want to know where the leak is first.

It seems like all three of the tractors are similar looking at the specs. The Branson is much newer but they have a lesser reputation than Kubota and JD. I’d still take the newer tractor though.

How important is the mid-mount mower to you? And if the 755 has a hydraulic leak is that a problem you would fix or take it somewhere? I would need to find out more about the leak before considering this one - and I am a mechanic. I do like 755s, but wonder if parts are as easy as the rest of the JD line. I've heard it both ways. I do like those turf tires. Most don't. It kind of comes down to whether you want a lawn mower

The Kubota seems a little beat and weathered. So it moves to last place.

The Branson 2400h has been a mainstay of their line for a long time. Being popular never hurts.
It's a little larger frame, heavier, newer, slighty more motor, and lifts more - all those with a 3rd function are hard to ignore. It has enough hours to show up a problem, but not enough time to cause one. More tractor, but for more money... It would cost a bit to set it up for finish mowing.

Appears the Branson is a dealer machine, so that's a plus (so the major service at 300 hrs is done) and you have a warranty, and since its a dealer ask for another year.. negotiate.

The 755 at $6500 is a good deal, but with a hydraulic leak would want to know location, if unknown, then that's a concern if it's more than a few drops on the floor or steady drip when running.

I vote for the Branson for the $ and warranty and third function installed - you saved $1000 right there!

That Branson is a reliable, simple little tractor, and it's still in production as a TYM. TYM absorbed Kukje (Branson) a few years back and so any TYM dealer will be able to get parts, and I'd imagine manuals as well. It's got a bit more lift capacity than the 755; it isn't lifting the world but it's about 1k pounds at the pin. Plus, it's already got the 3rd function? That's really useful.

Here is the current version; mechanically the same, but with a cute facelift.

If you're a giant like me you'll find it a little cramped, but for a normal person the operator platform is comfortable.

Then factor in $6500 for the JD, plus $1000 for the 3rd function, plus unknowns leaks etc, Then the adaptability of the QA on the Branson you can add a grapple or forks easily.

Spend the $3K more for the Branson and get a nearly new machine vs buying the JD and spending $$ to get want you want - the mods add up fast..

Unknown hydraulic leak involving an HST tractor would be a concern to me. Even if you knew what repair was required, who would do the work? John Deere dealer? Independent tractor repair shops are not common where I live and the dealers only want to work on their brands.
