B7510 & B7610 HST Owners (SURGE PROBLEM)

Anyone experiencing sudden surges during slow acceleration “takeoff”particularly in high range at any RPM? The surge is very jerkiness and annoying.

Also while moving along with steady acceleration the tractor feels like it went into passing gear and the ground speed increases.

The HST took me a little getting used to. Can be quirky and more pronouced in hi range. The problem for me is a slight surge in low range when I am creeping and turning with no load in the FEL.

I was told the HST will get smoother and less whiny after the first 50 hr. service. Call MB.

I currently have 88hrs. on my 7610 and I think the hydro has smoothed out quite a bit. It can still be a little jerky in high range but low range works beautifully now.

No surge problem so far with my B7510HST, but I only have 20 hours on it, all in low gear.
I guess I should check out the high gear range and see if I have your type of problem.

My 7610 has 140 hours on it. Either I have become desensitized to the occasional abruptness, or it has diminished. Either way, I don't even notice it anymore.

At 147 hours I have not noticed any jerkiness in the HST on my B7510. Sounds like it could be an issue on yours that needs the dealers attention.

Either the whine has lessened or I have gotten used to it. It bothered me at first but I hadn't thought about it in months until you mentioned it.
