MarshallTractor,

I am located in Louisa County. I did not attend UVA.. Just a fan of UVA sports. I stick to the home teams. I know what you mean about the weather. Has been raining all week. Where are you located in Central VA? I bought my tractor at Haynes Outdoors in Orange VA. Did you have any hooks welded to your bucket like DanR67 did? If so did they do any reinforcements to your bucket where the hooks attach?

DanR67,

Thanks for the pictures. I will need to use those as a reference when talking to my dealer. My salesman seems to think they don't do any reinforcements when welding on the hooks. I would prefer they did bulk it up a little as they did on yours.

DGM, I live in Troy, VA, just a little southwest of you I guess. I got my tractor from Staunton Tractor and didn't have any hooks welded on, even tho I asked for them. It turns out that the dealer forgot and I'm kind of happy he did. I have the 302 loader and I just don't see that bucket being heavy duty enough (thickness-wise) for handling the torque from a pulling hook. Just my humble opinion.

This is my first tractor so take my opinions with an extra grain of salt.
