B7800 3 pt. Upper arm

Geesh, I sprang for the expensive $40 Indian made TSC upper arm, get it home, greased it up good and it doesn't fit into the tractor side bracket. Is it too wide or is the tractor too narrow? Does the $20 Indian made one fit? All I have is a dremel for grinding, and the cat 1 hole pivot thingy looks pretty darn thick.

All the parts for my 7800 came with the tractor, including the upper arm and a tow hitch! Did you not get all the parts or is this a specialty item?

IT is probably the center hub that is to wide. We've ground them down before to fit.

I have pat's quick connects so I need a longer upper arm especially with a rotary mower.

Yup. How much of a job would it be to grind down with a little dremmel stone?

I use one on my B7800 when I'm pulling my disc as the extra length gives me more ground engagement on the rear discs. I had to grind it to fit and I used a 4" disc grinder. I think it would take a lot to remove the metal with a dremel tool. A cheap grinder from Harbor Freight, for example, and a single disc would do it for you.
