For the rattle just tighten up more on the hinge bolt. Mine is very snug and I actually need to stand on the 3 PH to move it up or down. No rattle from mine.
Very happy to hear you got one. I have 20 hours on my 7800 and love it. I have the folding ROPS and would recommend it because it will give you the mid PTO and cruise - some people will like this if you ever sell.
