After 100 hours I finally used it. Recently moved to a nice flat piece of real estate.
I decided to bushhog around the property line since the grass/hay was 4 feet up. Half-way through the first pass it dawned on me I should use this set-cruise feature.
All the creature comforts that got me to avoid "moving" up in class and size on the old property are coming back to get me at the new property.
It was nice moving my leg around on the operators station!
