B7800 shuts off when i get off tractor

Not sure about YOUR model tractor...I'll look at mine tomorrow and see> I don't recall the boot on mine....

Its the 7800. There is a rod with a rubber boot and another rod behind that one and the safety switch sits to the left of those rods, but they seem like they are work together.

Sounds like you have the correct mechanism, As I said earlier in a post, I by passed my switch, (i know the pedal always returns to neutral)

I would check with your dealer on the actual adjustment, although it looks like the rear nut on the rod just prior to the switch. you need to "lengthen" the rod to make better contact with the switch..
