Hi, I was wondering what the difference is between these 2 tractors. I was looking at a 2920 and the 3200 and have seen them side by side and could see the difference in size but the dealer didnt have a b7800 to look at. From the site it looks like the b7800 might just be a older model of the b3200 that was carried over..

A b2620 really looks like all I need but was thinking of going to the 2920 so I could run a larger PTO generator. But these other tractors dont seem to be much more money and you get a 4 cyl engine and can mount a bigger BH.

Thanks

B7800/3200 are as you stated replacement for the out going model.

I belive the more muscle the better so with that said 4cl vs 3 cl no brainer if you can afford the 4cl model. 7800 and 3200 are a little larger frame than the 29 series

I had a B7800 for 3 years and got it paid off. Traded it for a L3240HST. I don't agree that bigger is better so traded the L3240 back to Barlows after 1 year for a new B3200. I prefer the B size over the L size for my residential only uses. The B7800 was 31HP and the B3200 is 32 HP. The B7800 has the squarer hood. The B7800 has the FEL support bar across the fuel filler lid and the B3200 does not. The year old on the lot new left over B7800 was $500 less than the new just arrived in the crate B3200. I went for the new B3200. Also B3200 has QA pin type front bucket and the B7800 had the big round pins that holds the bucket on. Also the B3200 FEL lever is beside the seat and does a couple of other actions than the B7800. Hydraulic hoses on B7800 are more exposed beside lift arms than B3200 which has them more inside the lift arms. Visibility of front bucket superior on B3200. B7800 3PH lowers a bit for each push forward before pushing fully down. B3200 starts going down only when pushed totally down and only stops when you let go of handle. Position control may be optional on either one, I don't know.

Thanks for the info.

Seems kinda weird they kept the b7800 around as it is kinda redundant.

I think that all the B7800's that are around at dealers now are inventory that wasn't sold before the B3200's started ariving. I like the B3200 enough that I would choose that unless I got a darn good deal on a B7800, and might still take the B3200.
