Thats OK cause I am deaf in one ear already, actually it sounds great, originally I went straight pipe and it was to loud, NOW IT ACTUALLY SOUNDS LIKE A TRACTOR NOT A LAWN MOWER, improved power and better economy as well, would do it all over on the next tractor only I would do it sooner,

Actually I call it "MY TRACTOR", cause if I would have built it I would have built it MY WAY. This thing is now so much more tractor than I started with, do not get me wrong it was a good tractor to start with, but that is all, a good one to start with and start improving.......:thumbsup:

I also have a 7800, how much more power do you think you got. Less fuel would be great too.
It does not seem to bog down as much when you go into a pile of dirt with the bucket, this is a hard one to answer, but it is a noticeable difference. If I were to buy another Kubota tomorrow I would do the exhaust and air filter modification right a away, I feel they are well worth it. Also something to consider is taking all the heat from the muffler out from under the hood.... With the exhaust mod w/harley muffler and air filter mod w/precleaner I did an all day job for a neighbor (laying cold asphalt driveway) I ran it steady for 10 hours and used exactly 5 gallons of diesel. 2 hours per gallon seems pretty good to me.... The tractor runs fine with the mods and does seem to have gained quite a bit in the horsepower department.

Good to hear the results, the warranty has expired on my tractor, so now I'm all for modifications! Better fuel economy and a tad more power would be nice... I wear ear plugs no matter what, so it might be straight pipe!
