Greetings.
I'm a new user and greatly appreciate all the helpful advice to be found on this site. I've searched this forum for the answer to my particular question, but with no sucess.
I plan to install an inexpensive work light on the rear of my B7800. There is a free/empty wire with connector as well as an unnattached ground that are both taped to the wire bundle leading up to the rear right fender. I assume they are the factory provisions for the work light. I do not see any similar free wires under the seat.
Here's the problem - as far as I can tell, there is no power to these provisions. Nada. Zip. I've tested it with the headlights on, off, and with the flashers on and off. I can't figure out how to power up the wire. I suspect I'm missing something pretty basic, and would sure appreciate any advice.
Many thanks in adance.
