I've got a few year old
B2910 and can't complain, its a workhorse and very similar to the 7800 from what I can tell.
But the main reason I'm replying is that I think you need to buy what you like and what you are comfortable with. This year I picked up a new NH TC24D, I was shopping Kubota and liked the 7500. The dealer and I go way back, I've bought a White riding mower from him this year, he is also my Cub Cadet dealer and he's where the
B2910 came from. But I didn't deal with the owner and got a sales rep who didn't know me so I got the run around and the price was high. I went to the NH guy and he came up with a good price after I beat him over the head with wiffle ball bat (just one time) /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. Anyway my Kubota dealer's sales rep wouldn't budge, wouldn't even call me back. I ended up with the NH because I got a great price, about a grand lower than a comparable Kubota, and I got great service. About a week after delivery of the NH, the owner of the Kubota dealer called my office and asked about the sale of the Kubota. I told him what happened, he apologized, and we mended fences (I bought the White riding mower from him after I bought the NH for his competitor). But I also went back and played with the Kubota and am glad I got the NH.
For the size and price and performance, you can not get me to give up the Kubota
B2910. For the size and price and performance, you cannot get me to give up the NH TC24D. For the size and price and performance, you cannot get me to give up the Cub Cadet. I guess my point is, if you are buying ONE tractor, buy the one you really like because you will live with it and be happy with it.
