I've been looking for a used BF300 Loader for my B8200 2WD. They're no longer made, so dealerships only sell parts. I'm in San Diego, not exactly a hotbed for used tractor attachments. I'm willing to pay $2,500 or more depending on condition. I've thought about piecing one together from parts since I have a complete parts list and shop manual for the BF300. No guarantee that all the parts are available, though. Any ideas?

I put a new BushHog 1846QT loader on my B8200, about 2 years ago. It works great. It's a quick attach, but I have never had the need to remove it. I have the specs for the Kubota BF300; the Bushhog was pretty comparable on all specs.

I talked with local Kubota dealers around here. They would have put on the loader for a B2150 or 2710. They said it would work just fine; they would just have to drill some new mounting holes in the brackets. I don't recall what model loader they talked about now.

For a brand spanking new loader, figure $3000, +/- a couple hundred, installed(mine was $3100).

Yeah, I talked to the Kubota dealership and they estimated about $3,500 for the non-stock loader. Just for fun, I might take in the parts list for the BF300 loader and get a pricing/availability check on the whole darn thing. Who knows, it might be cheaper to build one myself!! You know how cheap and available Kubota parts are. Those loaders aren't exactly rocket science, either.

Local to Sacramento, I got my Bushhog a little cheaper than the Kubota. Kubota wanted $3500 for a I think a BF351?, and same for a SMC or Woods loader.

My local independant shop up here picked up the tractor, delivered it back, and did it all for $3100.

After builing my own Tip and Tilt, I think you may be suprised at how much it would cost to piece together a loader. Folks do it; you might check out that index on this forum.

Also, keep an eye on Ebay; do a search on "tractor". I see loaders there now and then.

Rick, I put a LA350 loader off of a B2150 on my old B8200 HST. I paid $2k for the loader and installed it myself, just had to bolt the frame up as the rest was all together. Worked great and didn't have to drill any new holes to make it fit!

Wow, that's great. I wish I could find a deal like that.
