Ought to be made to pay for every thing.
criminal rights are so strong they cannot reveal reveal to me who they are. Tell me my right is to search police & court public records. I am sure there have been retribution situations that the Police get sued by the offenders because the offended threaten them or do take law into their own hands.

Find out who he/they are and if they have assets , then take
a Civil action against them .

This. Sue them even if they don't have assets though. They may have to get real jobs eventually.
A new hood alone for a B8200 is around $1500.

Sorry to hear about what happened to you. Seems like now days the crooks have more rights than we do. You might try GAP TRACTOR they are a locator for parts and are fairly priced.

This got me to thinking. I know about cars/trucks being stripped for parts and batteries being stolen from farm/construction equipment, but I haven't heard of tractors being stripped by thieves for parts. Is this a common occurrence?

My insurance agent told me the other day there has been a rash of thefts of farm equipment lately , especially skid steer.

I view this forum as a pretty tight community. If you put in location someone might look out for the parts.
As far as suing them - small claims court, cuz' lawyers are like women, expensive. I know, I married both, in the same package.
