Hi, new to forum, got a couple questions, first how to tell the year model of this kubota tractor I bought, second, how many h.p. is a b9200 kubota? I purchased this from a man that said it was a 1996 but he got it with the property he bought,the b9200 came with a woods backhoe att.and fel. any help would be nice. Thanks Lonnie
I don't think they made them all the way up to 1996, but I could be wrong. We have a 1987 B9200 and we love it! It doesn't have PS, and only has a belly mower. We needed a FEL and couldn't find an adequete aftermarket model to suit our needs, so we recently purchased a B7610.
The 9200 was a great machine, very well built, solid, had good stability, plenty of power to do whatever we asked of it. The only thing we ever replaced on it in 20 years was the clutch switch. Change the oil and hyd fluid on time and that tractor will outlive you!
Congrats on a great find, they are difficult tractors to find, expecially loaded up the way you got yours.
You will not see many B9200s around, but they are great machines. They were produced from 1987 to 1990. The B9200 weighs 1,700 lbs. It stood out from the other B series tractors of the time with its 75.4 cu. in., 4 cylinder, 22.5 HP (16 PTO), engine.
