Price Check B9200hst 4x4 good price?

Im a new user as far as posting , would really apreciate any opinions on the following tractor
87' B9200 hst 4x4 fel 1200 hrs,paint is a little faded and some surface rust ,but tractor and loader work great asking price is $6995 and seller claims its worth $8500. Any advice would be great. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

WELCOME TO THE FORUM! my Friend has the same tractor, and he has worked that thing very hard over the years and still runs great. NOW ABOUT THE PRICE. i think it might be a tad high, but alot of that will depend on the area of the country u are located. what do u think of the price? as compared to what you have seen available in your area?

I bought one three years ago and paid $5500 for it with FEL and rear blade. Called it Ol' Drippy because of the leaks.

I'd say 5000 to 6500 as it only has armstrong power steering. Not to bad on hours.

I went back again and talked to a few in the buisiness and decided to pass on it.You guys were right on the money they all said about $5500 max. I will wait for something that feels a little better, I also got a wierd feeling from the seller.Thanks for all of your help

Your area seems to have alot of tractors available,in Va. right now, you cant find a late model tractor w FEL for under $10K
