Baby Pig. Now What?

Oscar is turning into a full fledged celebrity! His slight encounter with the law was just good publicity to put a rough edge on his image. We all know the ladies like a bit of a bad boy!!!!

Who would have imagined this story in reflection on you and your dad catching him that day. :thumbsup:

I'm thinking a Wienermobile shaped cake would be ideal, or maybe one of those cakes with a wienermobile photo transfer on top. Put a carrot in the middle for a candle substitute and watch Oscar destroy it.:thumbsup:

I am questioning my sanity, but in my defence, his power as a chick magnet only gets better as he gets older, and some goofy pics of him in a birthday hat and eating birthday cake will only increase his appeal!!!

So what have you learned about keeping pigs since you had him? Any advice (my wife saw his baby pics and melted, which means I need to start planning for a pig...thanks).

I wish I could pass on some words of advise on what to do, or how to raise a pig. I really just feed him and let him do his thing. Right now, while typing this, I don't have a clue where he is, and that's fairly common. He doesn't wonder off, but he does seem to disapear when he goes to sleep.

He is destructive to the ground, and he loves to push things over. I just laugh about it, but my Mom stresses over the mess he makes. He has all my land, and he will go over to my neighbors place when they are having a party, so he spreads out his rootings some, but there is no way to have a nice yard with him around.

I leave food out for him 24/7 and I give him an apple every morning. When friends come over, I have them give him an apple. I don't know if that helps him want to meet new people, or not. He comes up to everyone, anyway. He is fearless and curious.

For the way I live, he really is the perfect pet!!!
