Eddie, I really like your pig and figured I'd share a picture of my pet, Wilbur.
He has developed a taste for left over beers that have been rolling around in the cooler for too long.

Billy Bob: I sure do love that dog.
Mox: I think it's a pig.
Billy Bob: Yeah.

Where I come from you'd call that a marinade.

Great picture!!!! I don't know if I'd waste a beer on Oscar. Giving him an apple every day is already more then I think he deserves. :D

Here he is taking a nap with his best friend, Leo.

Iplayfarmer, you know there is a new ritzy "artisan gallery" -what ever the h*ll that is- nearby that also serves "local food prepared with upscale flair". Anyway a guy down the road that raises 10 or so hogs at a time was approached by them asking if he would finish one hog on mostly beer for them. Not sure if he is gonna or not.

Eddie, I only give him the ones that have been forgotten in the cooler for a while. We actually have friends that stop in from time to time with a beer just to see him drink one. I do give him old fruit and such but usually he just gets a coffee can of corn every other day and all the walnuts and clover he can find on his own. When he eats those walnuts it makes my teeth hurt just hearing him crack them sounds like he's eating gravel.

He already looks like a politician when you look at him from the rear. . . Of course I'm talking about pork. Right. . .
He looks like sausage to me :licking:

Leo is a couple of pounds. His coat gets REALLY thick in the winter months. Over the summer he looks scrawny and underfed. But right now, the looks really good. I'd say he's average in size. He's not a hunter like my other cat. He just seems happy to follow Oscar around and sleep most of the day away.

The cool weather has really brought out Oscar's personality. His normal behavior is to eat, sleep and dig in the dirt. With the cool temps, he likes to take off on a sprint, barking like a dog. It's really one of his most impressive and surprising characterstics. When it was hot out, he only went for walks with me some of the time. Now, it's every time!!! When he finds a dirt pile that gets him excited, he will attack it with his nose and it looks like he tries to flip the dirt as far as he can, as fast as he can. He will also spin in a circle, kind of like a dog chasing his tail. Sometimes he falls over when he does this, other times he breaks off into a sprint, then stops and looks around like he's surprised that he just did that. He seems less interested in getting mud on friends like he used to be, but still likes to come up and great everybody who comes over. Once he's done that, he wonders off and loses interest in you unless you give him a red apple. I have tried other apples, but red is what he likes the best. He is a very picky eater and wont touch something that he doesnt like.
