When I think of all the work you done to making the vacant land a home it sure is impressive... infrastructure, lake, home, outbuildings and now an honest to gosh farmyard...

We used to be that way, gosh we had probably 20 types. Some were really neat looking. Then we got geese, and ducks and turkeys, and guinea fowl (who promptly ran away LOL). Then pheasants, quail, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Now we keep about 10 chickens just for fun and a few eggs. It is easy to get out of control. Glad you're having fun, that's what it's all about.

I took this picture Monday morning. Oscar sleeps most of the day and night. The only times you see him moving around is when he's going from one sleeping area to another, or when it's feeding time.

I've never been around hogs to any great extent.

Oscar is the only pig I've ever known. He sleeps a lot, but I don't know what that means. He is too big to be healthy, but that's not going to change, so we just enjoy him as he is.
