Baby\'s got a new home Finally

The TC 30 has her new home and did a lot of the work herself. This has been my summer project.

picture #6 DONE !!!!! 28'wide 32' deep, 18' x 8' overhead door, 3' man door, no windows, 220v electric, phone, gas, 16" center 2x4 studs, 4' on center trusses, purlins and nailers 2' O.C. on roof and walls. Steel roof, walls, garage door and man door. 6" stone base, #4 rebar, 6" concrete and 18" x 12" honch. And a whole lot poorer, but me and the TC are real happy.

Looks great. Did you notch out the studs for the horizontal 2x framing? Hard to tell from the side and end wall pictures.

Re: Baby\'s got a new home Finally

didn't have to put horizontals in because i have 2x4 nailers going horizontal every 22" going up the sides with two nails on every 16" OC stud, then add the metal panels and it doesn't even shake. The cub gets used often for front lawn finished mowing. Sometimes at night, when it's cold, I noticed the cub rolls over to the TC and snuggles up. They play together all the time and get along great.
