Back dragging with bucket

This is also an excellent way to bend the cylinders.

You should be using the back, heel of the bucket, in float mode... driving in reverse.

Old and slow is correct, use float mode to protect your tilt cylinders. Just keep the bucket flat to ground to pull material with the heel of bucket, to release material just move your joystick to the right which will raise the heel and allow material to flow under your bucket. With a little practice it’s easy.

This is also an excellent way to bend the cylinders.

If you have direct connect cylinders to the bucket, but 4 bar linkage prevents this for the most part.

...Forgot to add if you want the method of using the back, heel of the bucket to work even better (in float mode) Fill the bucket with dirt (or rocks) to give it more weight as you back drag it.

You will not flatten it in one drag, you have to go over the area multiple times. Even then, a box blade (or rear blade) might be needed.
