I have a 1995 863 F series Turbo Bobcat. Would like to find out if the backhoe attachment is worthwhile or not?
I use the 863 for many tasks and with a heavy duty grapple on the front, it excels at fence row cleanup. Would like to use the backhoe attachment for stump removal. Not digging down more than 4 or 5 feet at most but my 863 balks at pushing over any sizable stumps. When taking down a tree, I leave a tall stump, say around 4 or 5 feet and then use leverage and the 73 hp's available to push and work the stump out.
Digging out the bigger stumps would save wear and tear on my pins, hoses and my teeth as it rattles me quite bit. Thanks everyone.
