Back hoe hose coupler problems

What is strange is that the tractor ends of the hoses will hook back together, but the back hoe couplings do not seem to want to go back together. It could be a pressure problem like you all are saying.

That does make sense, I store mine the same way. I haven't taken mine back off yet so I thought about that lol. I will probably just use the channel locks again

Sounds like a pressure problem to me. I have seen this on the loader of our B7500.
Try blocking under the backhoe and moving the levers to equalize the pressure in the system. Might be able to get it on that way.

Went home and tried your suggestions on tapping the end of the male portion of the valves and you guys were spot on! They went right together, you can teach an old dog new tricks.
