Blars,

If your're in the $18K range anyway look into the L3010 HST with woods 7500 subframe - probably about $22K. A much bigger tractor as well better hoe setup. Also if removal of hoe is a concern go with the B21TLB - my choice.

Otherwise for $800 do the Kub hoe, I think esp look into the frame attachment - 3PT or subframe. Also what is your usage pattern and intended application this is imp.

I have a 3pt. Great Bend 751 that I use around home. It does a good job and has not given me any problems. If you will use the hoe on a commercial basis, then definitely go with a sub- frame and a matching hoe and tractor. This setup will be a lot less hassle if you have a warranty issue. Use the hoe with some common sense, improper set up and usage can damage your tractor. The damage usually occurs where the top link attaches to the tractor. I believe there is a link on this site with photos on this subject. Good luck, these are a handy piece of equipment and will do an amazing amount of work.

Blars, The 4672 has much more digging force the the 662H.

Bucket digging force - Kub 2950 lbs, Bush 2450 lbs.

Dipperstick digging force - Kub 1740 lbs, Bush 1250 lbs

I have the 4672 and would not want any less digging power.

The 4672 will be more stable as well. The stabilizer spread is Kub 102", Bush 78"

The 4672 weighs 845 lbs, the 662H weighs 654 lbs, the Kubota has almost 200 lbs more steel.

The kubota hoe comes with it's own pump and the heavy duty toplink bracket, are you comparing prices with or without a pump on the Bush hog?

I don't think the 662H has a subframe available. Whichever one you get make sure that it includes a heavy duty top link and the added subframe braces that bolt on the tractor. I think the B7500 uses them (the B2400 does).
