So on the lighter side of the Projects section. LOL

I bought the mirror on sale at Princess Auto for $7 when I thought I was getting a side by side. The metal was just scrap I had kicking around. I would have really liked a back up camera, but I guess this is the next best thing when the budget doesn't allow for it. I can see the entire bumper although it's pretty small. I'm gonna test it with a plastic bucket.

Oh, and I got a shot of the "new" truck while I was at it.

Very clever! Thanks for the smile. BTW, no need to blow the budget on a backup camera. You can install one and a 7" monitor for around $50. There's an epic thread going here on TBN on that. A fair number of us have done it on our tractors, and they work great.

Yeah!? I'd be all over that! Must search for the thread.

Found it! Couple differences; Amazon.com prices may be $50 total, but Amazon.ca prices are over $100 before shipping... not that it's too expensive, but still...

Also I've read a lot of reviews that say a non-heated camera doesn't do well in snow... not a problem mounted inside a tractor... but different on my truck.
