Backhoe Backhoe Advise

Okay, I finally have my wife telling me to buy a backhoe and now I need help understanding what i need to chose a backhoe. I know why I want to use a backhoe but not sure which one and the setup for one.

I have a JD 3320 and really just want to dig up trees, tretches and small fish ponds and other possible landscape uses. I will also be digging up a lot of dirt along my drive way to start a retaining wall.

So i don't think i need the best but i don't want to purchase something I regret either. Should i just go with the JD or another brand like Woods or something?

Also i'm trying to understand how they operate off the tractor and what i need to implement.

Buy a JD unit with its frame that fits your tractor...

Woods should save you a thousand dollars , over Deere. That said, after doing the research I bought the Deere. I didn't want the tractor mfger to blame the hoe mfger, and vice versa. And of course, everytime I put it on and off the tractor I am impressed with the engineering.
