I read a lot of the old bent rod posts before I got my BH75, and it seemed that the common denominator was digging close to the tractor, with the dipper arm completely contracted, downward force on the boom and curling the bucket.
I've tried to avoid that situation, but it has happened quite a few times, so far with no ill affects. I have 45 hours on the tractor, with 15-20 hours on the backhoe, digging stumps and very rocky ground.
So far, I'm very impressed with the machine, and the BH75.
