Backhoe Backhoe, brushhog for 3015?

Well, I've decided to get a 3015 thanks to the help Ive gotten from the friendly folks here. My local dealer is going to sell it to me, with the loader, for $15,500.

Now I need to figure out which implements I will need to start out with. I definitely need a brushhog, but Im not sure how big. Is 6' too big for this tractor? Also, does anyone know if there is a backhoe available for the 3015?

I am not sure if there is a hoe currently available or not. There has got to be one somewhere, because all the other companies before used them. I am pretty sure however that Mahindra is working on a hoe for it if they don't offer it already. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Not totally relative to your question, however, I will tell you I have the 4110 model and have a Bradco 511, 11 ft hoe.. I would put it up against either of the big two, Kubota or JD 110 model, as far as hoe operation. Granted the L 48 and JD 110 can swivel their seat and off and running you go. I have to leave tractor and mount hoe, (which is my biggest complaint),, other than this, I believe this 511 can keep up or do better than the big two's system hoe's.

Glad to hear you are going with Mahindra, the 3015 is a great choice. The "Mahindra" branded backhoe is not available as of yet but, they say sometime around the end of March but we will see. As far as brush hog i would recomend a 60" but it also depends on what you are mowing, how often and how fast you want to go.
