Backhoe Buckets not available ???

( It's my understanding that the larger buckets are available (18 & 36). My issue with needing a 9-12 inch bucket is that I am installing lawn sprinklers and don't want to dig an 18 inch trench for a 1 inch pipe. Not to mention that I've already got a bounty crop of rocks subsurface, the less I have to haul out the better. )
Oh, quit whining! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I waited for 3 months just to get my backhoe. Others waited months as well. Gerard, didn't you wait a couple?
John

I'm glad you put the smiley face in your post. After I read it in my email (the smiley face didn't show) my blood pressure skyrocketed. But, since I see you have a sense of humor (and I do to) I'm back to normal.
Seriously, I'm sure you get the jist of my frustration. If only I had the bucket I could be out tearing things up, making a helluva mess, and trying to convince the wifey that I really am working (she still thinks of tractors and airplanes as toys).
I'm gonna go outside now and see if there is something for me to (work) on /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I certainly do understand. I wanted the backhoe most of all as I had many stumps and trees that I wanted rid my property of. One month turned into two, into three, and I was very upset about the whole thing. But I was still going like crazy with the tractor.
I hope you get your bucket soon. I know it's irritating. John

Backhoe buckets are very popular this time of year. Kioti does have the larger buckets just not the 12" yet. Even Rhino is out of stock on 12" buckets. They are a very popular size.

The saga is over. I received my buckets today. After getting the tractor fired up I dug up a rock /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif On the first pull the hoe made a bang. My suspicion is that a pin was not set, or something in the mounting moved into/out of position. Any ideas? Nothing out of the ordinary is visible.

Also, the seat on the hoe seems to be tilted back quite a bit (about 5 degree or more nose high) I don't see any adjustment other than the ability to throw the seat over. I'd like to make the seat higher, are the extra holes in the post for this purpose???

The noise could have just been the frame seating itself against a bolt on the backhoe. I know when I am pulling hard on my backhoe against a root or rock I occasionally hear something like that. The first few times I got off and inspected everything and then called the dealer. I haven't noticed anything wrong with my backhoe and the only time I get that is pulling or pushing really heavily with the backhoe. As far as the seat goes the holes in the post should allow you to adjust it up and down assuming it isn't already at the highest position.
